The aim of the Conference:

The ENPI CBC Black Sea JOP Project ALECTOR is a first attempt at Black Sea Level to equally offer dislocated audiences the chance to create their personal place-bonding with cultural assets presented independently of place and time, promoting the Project region at global level with exceptional cognitive-emotional heritage experiences.

PROJECT ENHANCEMENTS – FACTS & FIGURES

CALL FOR EXPERTS
A call for experts has been launched as part of the ALECTOR project. Experts of any kind operating in the cultural heritage domain are invited to join the Black Sea Heritage Observatory – the project legacy upon completion. The project partners jointly published the call inviting experts from the partner territories having 3 years of proven experience in heritage management, communication, interpretation, culture and the arts or other. It is foreseen a Black Sea pool of more than 180 experts to be attracted as available resources to the Black Sea Heritage Observatory who can actively contribute and cooperate within thematic spheres of culture heritage interpretation and promotion. The call is published in the official project site, partners’ websites as well as many other partnering communication tools. 3rd CB Project Meeting with ENPI PARTNERS in Batumi (Georgia)

From 29 of July to 1st August 2015, the 3rd CB Project Meeting with ENPI PARTNERS (Greece, Romania, Bulgaria, Moldova, Ukraine, Georgia, Turkey) has been held in Batumi (Georgia).

Site Visits in Şile and Ağva

THE IPA FLB Governorship of Istanbul and IPA Partner 2 Bahcesehir University, Development of Vocational and Technical Education Center (METGEM) executed fieldworks in Pilot Project Regions, Şile and Ağva.

FIELDWORKS IN VILLAGES OF ŞİLE AND AĞVA
IPA FLB Governorship of Istanbul and IPA Partner 2 Bahcesehir University, Development of Vocational and Technical Education Center (METGEM) began to execute fieldworks in pilot project regions. In order to access the items which can be assessed as ‘cultural heritage’ and to create a route, it was arranged three site visits till now. Within the scope of these works, project team visited five villages and some other places, met with village mukhtars and elders of villages to learn the history of villages.

Host Event in Şile and Ağva

THE IPA FLB Governorship of Istanbul and IPA Partner 2 Bahcesehir University, Development of Vocational and Technical Education Center (METGEM) organized a Host Event in Pilot Project Regions Şile and Ağva.

The Host Event is organized by IPA FLB Governorship of Istanbul and IPA Partner 2 Bahcesehir University, Development of Vocational and Technical Education Center (METGEM). The meeting has focus on informing the local community of Şile and Ağva about Alector Project, its goals, studies and results that will be applied in these region.
The meeting has taken place at Women Society Center, Şile, İstanbul on 17st of April.

ALECTOR project starts the HERISCOUT eCourse STUDY

Project ALECTOR starts from the November 2014 the HERISCOUT eCourse STUDY, the training activity. 

The ENPI CBC BLACK SEA JOP PROJECT ALECTOR (2.1.2.73296.282 MIS ECT 2617) is dedicated to promote cultural values for development, enhance environmental conscience and behavioural patterns, to mitigate the protection-use conflict and improve the attractiveness of the Black Sea regions in support of socio-economic development contributing to the EU and cooperating countries according to the 2020 priorities for smart, sustainable and inclusive growth.

ALECTOR KICK-OFF MEETING

The Lead Applicant of ALECTOR hosted the three-day kick-off meeting of the project in Drama (Greece) between the 3d and the 6th of June 2014. The meeting was held in the City Council Hall of Drama with the participation of all ENPI and IPA Partners (for the full programme please click here).
