ALECTOR KICK-OFF MEETING

The Lead Applicant of ALECTOR hosted the three-day kick-off meeting of the project in Drama (Greece) between the 3d and the 6th of June 2014. The meeting was held in the City Council Hall of Drama with the participation of all ENPI and IPA Partners (for the full programme please click here).

During the first day of the meeting, participants had the chance to make a short presentation of the organisations they represented and attend three presentations on the Project’s vision, scope and goals, the Project’s details and deliverables and the Project’s financial procedures by Dr. Dorothea Papathanassiou – Zuhrt.

During the second day, participants elected the project’s committees, i.e.
• THE STEERING GROUP COMMITTEE (SGC)
• THE QUALITY CONTROL COMMITTEE (QCC)
• THE TECHNICAL CONTROL COMMITTEE (TCC)

After the election followed a trip to a local winery. There, a sightseeing tour was offered and a presentation of Drama’s proposed Cultural Route was given by Ms Tzimou Evi. The presentation focused on the cultural history of Drama, the local customs and the tourist assets.
On day three, the meeting continued with a thematic study tour in the city of Drama, in which the participants followed the cultural route. The tour was completed with a visit at Ms Tzimou’s mansion. The afternoon session included the delivery of the first thematic seminar by Dr. Dorothea Papathanassiou – Zuhrt.

Participants agreed to meet again in Varna (Bulgaria) in November 2014.
